We specialise in helping new start-ups and can put a bespoke advertising package together to meet the needs of your particular Isle of Wight holiday cottage so please contact us to see what we can do for you. We are especially keen to add an Isle of Wight holiday cottage in the Freshwater Bay or Totland Bay area to our portfolio.
We take care of all the marketing, bookings and reviews for your Isle of Wight holiday home and work with our partners Visit Isle of Wight, HomeAway, HolidayLettings/TripAdvisor, Airbnb and Red Funnel Holidays so your property features high on search engines and feedback captured from your guests – see our track record of capturing high quality feedback. We will do our best to optimise the letting potential of your Isle of Wight holiday cottage (and we are already handling enquiries and bookings for 2019). We take a commission charge from each customer booking as a contribution to the cost of hosting your Isle of Wight holiday home on our partner websites, managing your bookings and arranging ferries for your guests. We don’t charge a registration fee and we are not VAT registered.

Bookings – We manage bookings on your behalf. This starts with responding to enquiries 24/7, taking & notifying you of bookings, collecting payment (deposit & balance payments), booking ferries at discounted rates, providing guests with information about your Isle of Wight holiday cottage / directions etc., providing you with a monthly account statement and prompt payment following each guests’ arrival. With a small portfolio and local island knowledge we can provide a personal response and we see most enquiries translate into bookings.
New to holiday letting?
We are happy to share our experience and local island network (ask for our Owner guide and what we can do for you, even if you are outside of West Wight). We can advise on choosing your Isle of Wight holiday cottage – we know what kind of properties work and we know the Isle of Wight villages and countryside very well.
We have the knowledge and time to help you set up your Isle of Wight cottage for holiday letting (free if you join our West Wight Cottages portfolio). We can take photos (including wide angle), advise on the regulations to which you must comply and can advise or perform your fire risk assessment, electrical safety check/PAT testing or access statement. We can also recommend or provide (at extra cost) the support services you will need – housekeeping (cleaning & laundry), caretaking, gardening, general maintenance etc (Steve is a fully qualified plumber and is happy to be called out when needed!). We know how to get a quality rating and how to maximise your sustainability offering. Most of all we know how to look after your guests so that they return year after year!
Note we do not offer a standalone housekeeping service to holiday home owners advertising elsewhere.
Live on the mainland? We know what it is like to be in this position (having experienced this ourselves in the past) and the challenges this presents.
