Lockdown activity – help protect our Dark Skies
It’s wonderful to view a night sky filled with stars. Unfortunately light pollution means most people can’t see many stars, especially if you live in or near a big city. Take part in Star Count and help find out where is best and worst for seeing the stars. After 7pm on a clear night until 14 Feb turn off all lights and give your eyes time to adjust to the darkness. Count how many stars you can see with your naked eye within the constellation of Orion and report to Star Count.
