See Visit Isle of Wight for up to date information on travel. Many Island attractions have been closed and events cancelled in line with the Government lockdown. We recommend you check their websites for the most up to date information in regards to cancellations, changes to service, new safety measures and dates of re-opening.
We offer flexible payment terms and free cancellations if your holiday is impacted due to UK Government coronavirus restrictions – please ask for details. Stays of up to 28 days now available.
For forward bookings we are contactable via phone and email. We can help you plan your holiday, arrange ferries and provide you with all the information you need to enjoy your holiday.
We ask that you pay by direct bank transfer if you book via our West Wight Cottages website. You have additional options of Visa, MasterCard & PayPal if you book via our online partners Visit Isle of Wight, HomeAway, Holiday Lettings / TripAdvisor and Red Funnel Holidays. We require a deposit of £200 per rental week to secure your Isle of Wight holiday cottage – payment terms and cancellation policies are flexible for duration of Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, please ask for details. If you cannot make your holiday dates please try and postpone rather than cancel.
We will send you a welcome pack ahead of your arrival which includes directions, key access and all the information you should need about your Isle of Wight holiday cottage. Isle of Wight holiday cottage discounted ferry deals
We can book your ferry for you whether you are arriving at your Isle of Wight holiday cottage by car or on foot. Please ensure you book early for the school summer holidays. We offer discounted rates with:
- Wightlink – Lymington to Yarmouth (vehicle & foot passengers), Portsmouth to Fishbourne (vehicle & foot passengers – look out for the new environmentally ferry Victoria of Wight), Portsmouth to Ryde (foot passengers only)
- Red Funnel – Southampton to East Cowes (vehicles only). Ask if you would like priority boarding or to be upgraded to the Signature Lounge (at extra cost)

Isle of Wight holiday cottage welcome in these difficult times
We have been working hard to ensure our Isle of Wight holiday cottages are “COVID-19” secure and have taken extra steps as recommended by The Professional Association of Self-Caterers. In advance of your arrival we will have thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the cottage and where possible we will leave gaps between bookings. This season our welcome hamper will contain sealed or washed produce that can be left for you to open when you are ready. We will send you all relevant information on the cottage and places to visit in advance by email and remove or rotate any paper based information, books, videos etc which could be handled by others. Hand sanitiser will be provided.
We will not greet you in person but we are here if you have any problems or need help during your stay. We live on the Island so do not hesitate to contact ourselves or our housekeepers – contact details in your welcome pack. We will aim to keep a social distance of 2m if we need to visit you.
